The area served by Norwalk-Wilbert Vault Company, LLC., in cooperation with eighteen distributors, covers large parts of the Northeast including parts of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, the five Boroughs of New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Long Island. Norwalk-Wilbert Vault Company, LLC. is the dominant licensee in the Northeastern U.S. and is part of the large Wilbert® licensee network that covers most of the United States and parts of Canada.
The Wilbert® line of burial and urn vaults, most of which we manufacture locally, meet or exceed all of the quality standards set by WFSI®. Our products are well-designed and are tested regularly. Regular on-site plant inspections and materials testing are performed by the Quality Control Department of WFSI. Our Wilbert® Burial Vaults and Urn Vaults are manufactured with care and pride by our hardworking and dedicated staff, and are guaranteed to perform as described. Norwalk-Wilbert
Vault Company, LLC., is a licensed Wilbert® burial vault, urn vault,
cremation urn, and graveside service company that has served the Metropolitan
Bridgeport area since 1932. Located in Connecticut, Norwalk-Wilbert Vault
Company, LLC., is an independent, locally-owned licensee of Wilbert Funeral
Services, Inc.®, which is based in Forest Park, Illinois.
Wilbert®
Burial Vaults and Urn Vaults are designed to surround a casket or urn in the
ground, protecting the deceased's casket or urn from the weight of the earth and
from the heavy cemetery maintenance equipment as cemeteries perform routine
maintenance. Also, most cemeteries require some type of 'Outer Burial Container'
to keep the grave from sinking in. Wilbert® Burial Vaults and Urn Vaults perform
both of these functions admirably. Remember, the vault is the only part of the
Funeral Service that is designed to function from the minute it is sealed until
eternity. The importance of the vault choice cannot be overemphasized.
Our
experienced staff is totally dedicated to making the funeral experience a
